Boston Lights Exposition and Conference is a biennial trade show and conference held to provide architects, engineers, interior designers, and lighting designers with local access and an approachable format to the latest and greatest in new lighting fixtures and controls. The event is organized by the Designers Lighting Forum (DLF) of New England, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting lighting education and awareness for the architectural design community. As one of the most diverse organizations in the Northeast, DLF offers networking opportunities with other lighting designers, architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, manufacturer’s representatives, educators, students, and anyone with an interest in or a passion for lighting.
Boston Lights Exposition and Conference features the country's leading lighting manufacturers, the newest products available and notable design experts. The event was first held in October of 2010 with just 70 manufacturers exhibiting. In 2018 it attracts over 150 manufacturers exhibiting and more than double the number of attendees. Alongside the trade show the event also offers an outstanding series of AIA and ASID accredited seminars presented by luminaries of our industry from around the world.
