The YD-DGC-16x60 SMD LED modules deliver exceptional performance with significant energy cost reductions, easier job site installation and maintenance-free, longlife operations for channel letter, border lighting, light box, back lighting, architectural and decorative applications. The compact design accommodates channel letter signage with shallow depth faces. In conjunction with a 120° viewing angle that creates a uniform backlighting effect, this flat SMD module is perfect for backlighting single and double-sided box signs as well as halo illuminating thin letters, fascia signs, hanging signs, projecting signs and totems. The installation flexibility and resistance to vibration and shock make these sign modules a superior alternative to fragile neon or fluorescent tubes.

Available in both single color (white, red, green, blue) and 3-in-one RGB versions, YD-DGC-16x60 LED modules produce high quality, energy efficient light with a full range of color options. Yongdian ensures that all of its signage modules are manufactured to a tight MacAdam ellipse color binning tolerance for white light to ensure color consistency from LED to LED. The RGB LED modules use high performance tricolor 5050 SMD LEDs for flawless color mixing and maximum punch. The module has an on-board control circuit which integrates a programmable constant-current driver and a 24 bit shift register with three 8-bit PWM controllers for modulating three primary colors. With this control IC, any color of the visible spectrum can be seamlessly created. The ability to control the color of each module with an on-board IC through DMX512 control allows you to create an endless number of lighting effects, including animation and video.

The YD-DGC-16x60 LED modules come in waterproof, durable PVC housed packages. Engineered to stand up to years of abuse and weather, these outdoor rated LED modules are hermetically sealed using the patented secondary packaging technology. In contrast to conventional waterproofing technology that uses sealants to provide water repellency, secondary packaging creates a one-piece PVC housing that complete encapsulates the LED assembly. This eliminates the concerns associated silicone or epoxy potting which is prone to deterioration when exposed in extreme temperature conditions. The hermetically sealed LED modules are protected from water penetration, extreme temperatures, UV degradation, vibrations and mechanical damage. The PVC housing is flame retardant with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 28% and exhibits excellent self-extinguishing performance with a V-0 flammability rating.
