The HLV Series round LED high bay luminaires offer a unique balance of rugged construction, high reliability componentry and functional design. Available in a choice of lumen packages from 14,000 to 40,000 lumens, HLV UFO high bays are designed to creating sustainable efficiencies for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, big box retail, recreational and large retail facilities.

The HLV LED luminaires feature a high thermal performance heat sink made of high purity 1070 aluminum. The cold forged heat sink offer much better heat dissipation than die-cast and extruded aluminum housings. Its thermal conductivity reaches up to 230 W/mK whereas a typical die cast aluminum sink has less 100 W/mK thermal conductivity. The computer designed and optimized heat dissipation fins deliver outstanding air convection and thermal radiation that facilitate superior passive cooling. Combined with a thermally efficient MCPCB that provides rapid heat transfer from the p-n junction inside the LED die, HLV high bays offers excellent thermal management that maintains the long lifespan and efficiency of LEDs.

HLV high bay LED luminaires are constructed with Nichia 757G LEDs and Mean Well HBG LED electronic drivers that bring industry-leading performance and reliability to the system. The low power, high efficacy and excellent color rendering characteristics of Nichia LED technology provides a competitive combination of high lumen output and system level efficacy. The constant current LED driver with active power factor correction delivers superior circuit efficiency and protection under the universal voltage system. The 0-10V dimmable driver supports DALIs protocol. The lighting system can be factory installed with daylight harvesting controls and occupancy sensors to maximize energy efficiency.

The LED high bay comes standard with a symmetrical wide 120° beam angle. Premium spun aluminum anodized reflectors are available to narrow the beam distribution to  60° or 90°. With an optional 70° prismatic refractor, HLV offers a more decorative feel with minimum glare. The optical compartment is sealed with a gasketed tempered glass lens to protect against dust and water jets.
