A compact, polyester powder coated, one-piece die cast aluminum housing with fishbone style heat sink provides optimal passive thermal management and rugged construction that effectively protect the functional components from thermal degradation, corrosion deterioration and impact damage. The light engine takes advantage of high performance LUXEON 3030 LEDs from Lumileds. The hot-color targeting technology from Lumileds ensures consistent color quality within ANSI specifications at real-life operating temperatures. With accurate current and voltage regulation by an Inventronics LED driver as well as precise optical control from precision engineered TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, AOK iM Series achieves an excellent system level efficacy at 130 lumens per watt and deliver comparable performance to that of 70-200W HID based luminaires. AOK iM LED street lights are IP66 rated for weatherproof operation and IK10 protected against external mechanical impacts.
