The Star Series LED downlights feature a shallow recess depth that facilitates the integration into the ceilings with limited installation space. Designed around the latest high efficiency LED technology, Star provides a modern architectural solution to achieving an industry-leading combination of light quality and efficacy for commercial, retail, and institutional lighting applications. Available with power consumption options of 2W, 4W and 7W, this robust family of small recessed downlights create high lux levels with a luminous efficacy of up to 100 lm/W. The unobtrusive downlights are available in three aperture sizes: 35mm, 50mm and 60mm.

The LED downlights deliver high quality light and uniform light distribution using efficient SMD technology. The discrete surface mount packages fit into low profile, diffusing lenses for a choice of narrow spot 15° and narrow 25° beam angles. The impact resistant, high transmission optics optimize distribution and reduce luminance in the luminaire while eliminating pixelation and minimizing glare. Delivering exceptional illumination, consistent illuminance levels and precise beam control, the recessed LED downlight packs a punch with its low profile design.

The light source is protected by a durable aluminum housing which can be used for both non-insulated ceiling applications and direct burial in insulation. The high conductivity aluminum alloy housing transfers the heat from the LED junction to the ambient environment efficiently. Adequate thermal management ensures enhanced levels of luminous efficacy, lumen maintenance and chromaticity stability.
