Surmountor N1212 corner mount LED neon flex lights are designed to provide a seamless line of glow in the corner of two planes which meet at a 90° angle. With a maximum run length of up to 50 meters, the flexible LED lights are the perfect solution to adding a classic neon appeal to the joints of architectural spaces such as building perimeters and outlines to create architectural impressions. Their slim profile makes these lights the ideal solution for tight space lighting applications: under cabinets, display cases, counters, shelves, coves, and toe kicks. Solid state lighting technology and silicone waterproofing protection combine to make this product an energy efficient, visually stunning linear lighting solution with durability and adaptability that were never possible with traditional neon tubes.
With a linear array of high density SMT light sources of 300 LEDs per meter, N1212 LED neon flex produces a continuous glow over its entire length with invisible light points. Surmountor N1212 utilizes 2014 SMD LED packages for exceptional optical output and solder joint performance. Tight MacAdam ellipse color binning ensures optimal color control for unnoticeable color differentiation across the entire run. A guaranteed CCT tolerance of ±100K provides industry-leading chromaticity consistency. The light sources deliver up to 300 lumens of high quality light per meter in a warm, neutral or cool white CCT with superior lumen maintenance and minimal color shift.
The 2014 SMD LED packages come with specially designed solder pads that offer excellent solderability. Surmountor follows a tightly controlled SMT process that places high standards on solder application, screen printing and reflow soldering. Thick copper PCBs provide a substrate that allows a strong metallurgical bond to be created, thereby establishing a reliable electrical contact and thermal path from the die through the package encapsulant to the copper foils. The FPCB with heavy copper trace offers high efficiency thermal dissipation as well as maintains voltage over the length of long runs. The high ductility copper PCB has outstanding bending stability which allows the LED neon light to conform to virtually all straight, curved or irregular constructs.
The flexible LED strip is encased by an extruded silicone sleeve which, in conjunction with factory molded waterproof connectors and end caps, offers complete protection against water and dust. Surmountor's proprietary silicone sleeving technology not only addresses the lifetime reliability of ingress protection, but also takes account of the color shift caused by the sealants over LEDs. Compared with PVC, PU and TPU which are commonly used in waterproof protection of LED neon strips, silicone has superior flexibility, malleability and temperature resistance. These properties makes silicone sleeved LED neon lights an all-weather solution in a wide variation of temperature conditions.
