Ansen AR111 LED bulbs use Luminus chip-on-board (COB) LED packages to create a brilliant visual effect while delivering huge savings in energy and maintenance cost. Available in 18W and 35W models, the LED reflector bulb produces respective light outputs of 1500 and 2800 lumens. In contrast to SMD LEDs with small intense surfaces, the large luminous surfaces of COB LED produce more uniform, smooth light. The high lumen density of Luminus COB LEDs allows for high center beam intensity and uniformity which are perfect for directional lighting applications. These LED bulbs produce superior quality of light with exceptional color consistency and brilliant color rendering options designed specifically for retail displays and lighting of artwork in studios, museums and galleries. A precisely designed reflector with multi-facet surfaces further increases the bulb's center beam candle power (CPCB) in a 18° spot beam, or 30°/ 36°flood beam. This product is also available with optical control provided by an integrated lens.
The directional LED bulb comes with a rugged construction for a lifetime of durability and optimal performance. Constructed of die cast aluminum, the lamp housing provides high efficiency thermal conduction. The housing is designed with air ventilation holes for natural convection of thermal energy. Integrated thermal management enables low junction temperatures at the chip level, thereby addressing the concerns of performance degradation and lifespan reduction that are typical of lighting systems with a poor thermal design.
The LED reflector bulb is self-ballasted by an integrated constant current driver that runs off 100-240 VAC input voltage. The line-powered LED driver incorporates power factor correction to maximize electricity utilization. High performance load regulation allows the COB LED to run to their optimum performance throughout its rated functional life. The driver comes non-dimmable standard. Dimmable drivers are available upon request.
