Available in 15°, 24°and 36° beam angles, the MR16 LED bulb provides a uniform spread of light with the amount of lumen output desired to deliver high center beam intensity. The directional bulb uses chip-on-board (COB) technology to provide a tight beam of light in CCTs from 2700K to 4000K. The 6 watt LED bulb provides 420 lumens of high quality light with color rendition greater than 80 CRI. Optional 90+ CRI products are offered for applications where a spectrum of light that renders color faithfully is required. Flux density is maximized with a multi-facet reflector which provides uniform target distributions with high reflectance efficiency. An anti-glare lens is incorporated in the optical system to maximize optical extraction efficiency whilst minimizing overshadowing and eliminating visible hot spots from the LED.
This MR16 reflector bulb is optimized to work as an integrated system to ensure component life as well as consistency in lumen output and color stability throughout the product's long rated service life. The bulb has a thermally efficient, corrosion resistant housing constructed from a thermoplastic and aluminum composite. The aluminum part of the housing is made from die cast aluminum which provides robust heat sinking of thermal energy generated by the LED. High performance thermal interface material (TIM) and low thermal resistance PCB maximizes the heat flow from the LED chips to the heat sink. The optimized thermal path guarantees high efficiency in heat dissipation.
The self-ballasted spotlight bulb is powered by a constant current driver which has an output current rating of 185mA and output voltage range of DC 22-28V. The driver circuit runs off 180-240 VAC with 83% driver efficiency. Tight load regulation allows the COB LED to operate to their optimum performance. The driver comes non-dimmable standard. Dimmable drivers are available upon request.
