8W Dimmable BR20 LED Bulbs

The dimmable BR20 LED bulb from Ansen Lighting are designed to enhance the ambiance of your lighting fixtures while delivering huge energy savings over their long rated service life that lasts 25 times longer that halogen light bulbs. The bulged reflector design produces a wide pools of light without wasteful or unwelcome light spill. The LED flood bulb radiates brilliantly with visual comfort probability (VCP) for functional general lighting and creates visual interest, depth, and dimension with it precision optical control. This bulb is ideal for creating an inviting and comfortable environment with recessed light fixtures for residential, retail, office and hospitality applications.

BR20xFB08 is constructed of high quality components to deliver illuminance, ambiance and sustainability throughout its entire functional life. The light engine uses 12 Lumileds SMD3030 LEDs which produce 640 lumens of high quality light in CCTs of 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K. These industry leading LED packages deliver high lumen density and luminous efficacy with high chromaticity stability and excellent lumen maintenance. This series comes with a premium 90+ CRI option which allows the high color rendering LED light sources to deliver exceptional color rendering for accurate color reproduction of colors across the entire spectrum. The optical system uses a UV stabilized polycarbonate diffuser that eliminates pixelation to achieve a uniform, comfortable appearance.

The floodlight bulb has an aluminum construction that provides excellent thermal management, durable mechanical support and optical positioning. Thermal resistance of every component in the thermal conduction path from junction to ambient environment are minimized for effective thermal transfer. The LEDs are bonded to a high thermal conductivity circuit board with excellent solder joint reliability to withstand high thermal stress and deliver high efficiency thermal conduction. The interface between the PCB and aluminum heat sink is bridged by a high performance thermal grease to improve thermal conduction. The thermally efficient aluminum housing has an array of air ventilation holes designed to facilitate thermal transfer via natural convection. An impact resistant, flame retardant PC housing provides smooth transition between the aluminum housing and bulb base for a sleek look.

The LED bulb is equipped with a constant current LED driver that runs off an input voltage of 90-130, 180-240 or 100-240 VAC. This driver circuit provides 200mA current with reduced ripple for a higher quality of light. Despite the limited space due to a compact design, the driver circuit has a 0.70 power factor and 80% driver efficiency. The driver also provides stable dimming control of LED loads and is compatible with most phase control Triac dimmers.
