The PAR30 LED bulb use Luminus chip-on-board (COB) technology to create a highly impactful retail experience with consistent color, and a centrally-located light source that brings greater uniformity than multiple-SMD lamps. The directional lamp deliver high lumen outputs of 1350 and 1800 lumens from 15W and 20W power inputs respectively. Use of high flux density COB LEDs enables tight beam control from a uniform source with tight beam control. The directional bulb is equipped with precision optics that provide a 12°, 24° or 36° light distribution using a lens or reflector.
XFL/R Series PAR30 LED bulbs consume up to 80% less energy than equivalent halogen bulbs and lasts 25 times longer, while achieving better color quality with an optional CRI of 90+ (80 CRI as standard). The LED bulb produces consistent light intensity with tight correlated color temperature control throughout its 25000 hour rated life. This is achieved through proper thermal management that minimizes the effective thermal resistance for every component along the thermal path from the LED junction through the phosphor coating and PCB to the ambient environment. The thermally efficient aluminum housing is designed with ventilation cutouts that facilitate thermal energy transfer to the ambient environment through natural convection.
This collection of directional bulbs are powered by constant current drivers that deliver high efficiency, high power factor and low harmonic distortion. This driver circuit is capable to provide 350mA current with minimal ripples provided to the LED load for flickerless lighting. The driver has dimming capability and can be used with standard phase-cut Triac dimmer controls.
