Designed to deliver high center beam candle power (CBCP) performance, the PAR30 LED bulb uses chip-on-board (COB) LED packages to bring greater uniformity than multiple-SMD or multi-lens directional LED lamps. Tight beam control and exceptional light quality of Luminus COB LEDs are well suited for high output, directional spot applications. PAR30COBMYL/R13 delivers 910 lumens of white light in a choice of color temperatures with a power consumption of 13 watts. Luminus COB LEDs are available in high CRI versions which deliver superb color rendering for retail display and artwork showcase applications. PAR30COBMYL/R13 features an optical system that accommodate interchangeable lenses and reflectors with multiple light distribution options including 12°, 24° and 30°.

The short neck PAR30 LED bulb is built to last with a rugged construction that provides lifetime durability and superior thermal management. The sturdy lamp housing is constructed from die cast aluminum that deliver excellent thermal conductivity. The aluminum housing has an array of vertical air passages that facilitate heat convection. The thermal path of the lighting system is optimized to provide low thermal resistance for every component, including the thermally conductive PCB and TIM. Superior thermal management ensures the directional bulb is protected from color shift and performance degradation.

The LED bulb is equipped with a constant current driver that is integrated in the lamp. The high performance LED driver operates across the 90-130Vac or 180-240Vac input range with high efficiency, high power factor and low harmonic distortion. This driver circuit is capable to provide 300mA current and includes dimming control to adjust the intensity of the light output.

The driver has dimming capability and can be used with standard phase-cut Triac dimmer controls.
